You probably, like me, grew up hearing the following phrases way too many times… "You cannot have both love and money... You have to sacrifice.”

Well I am going to tell you now….

THIS IS OLD SCHOOL.

You Can Have Both.

If you decided to become a female entrepreneur and ditch the same old day job, you chose this road because you wanted to do something you enjoyed and dare say loved. You dreamed of it for a while, before you decided to finally conceive it and bring it to life like a beautiful newborn baby.

Your business is an extension of you. It shows off your talents, gifts, skills, knowledge, education and experience.

You have been running and taking care of your business for while now—enjoying it, loving it—showing off your greatest expression of your skills and getting income from it, as a win-win situation. You are happy with your business, right?

Well, secretly you are starting to feel conflicted because, though what you love about your business is amazing, it is not making as much money as you hoped it would be making by now. Plus you have your family, who are starting to speak in your ear… “You can't be happy and make money.... You are going to have to sacrifice to make money in your business.”

Well, beautiful, this was what I went through too.

I thought this once too.

For years I thought you had to sacrifice and work hard. I did this in my 20s and was miserable. Finally, I decided to break the mold and join the camp of entrepreneurship. Which I loved, but in the beginning I still thought I couldn't have money since I was happy in love with what I was doing.

Then I learned the real truth!

Well, finally I realized after trial and error that….

You can have both.

A business you love, and money to support you, and you do not have to listen to all the naysayers who mean well, but may not know what to do to have both.
